We’re all different people at different times in our lives. But the one person I’ve always been, for as long as I can remember, is a writer.

I’ve been reporter, a graphic designer, a videographer, a student, a tutor, a librarian, a manager–and, of course, the most important things: a wife, daughter, and sister–but the one thing I’ve never stopped doing is loving the magic of words. The very first story I ever wrote was a riveting tale about a “war” between friends on a playground. It was written in a Barbie diary–a sure sign of greatness right there; I’m pretty sure The Old Man and the Sea was written in Hot Wheels journal–and I never really stopped writing. I’m a strong believer that the world is a better place with stories–but no story is complete without sharing it.

I post three times a week: Mondays are short stories, Wednesdays are blogs, and Fridays are current thoughts as I work towards publication.

I’m excited to be at the beginning of this story–and even more excited to share my journey to (hopefully!) publication with you.
